Bolivia is a beautiful country, with wonderful people. You don’t even need Spanish to get around, just a smattering will get you the basics and I’ve yet to come across a hotel or restaurant where they didn’t have at least basic English. I would highly recommend Bolivia as a place to visit, it’s underrated and has a lot to offer.
The landscapes, as I’ve gushed about in previous posts, are beautiful and varied. There is a lot to offer here, and I could easily spend another few weeks here.
As for what is up next, my climb up Huayna Potosi, but because one member of our group was kind enough to share a cold with everyone I’ve pushed back the climb 3 days. I’m well on the mend right now, but still struggling with thinner air (something that shouldn’t be happening since I’ve been at or near this altitude for almost two weeks now).
