Every stop we photograph the wifi code so we can put it into our phones and devices later. Like a wifi footprint trail.
Granada (Nicaragua)
Friday, 8 March 2024
There’s a country called Granada too, don’t get confused 😁. Granada was really quite fantastic. The plan for the full day turned out to be really good.
Still alive, just a bit busy
Things have been going great, and I’m having a fantastic time (lol that sounds like something I’d write if I was being held hostage — please send money to… 😂). It’s either been full on busy, or full on relaxing, and I’ve not had a chance to upload anything, especially not on slow data.
Will post more soon

Panama
Next up after this trip (Not until the 16th of March), I’m then going to Panama via the Caribbean side of Central America, and after that…Leaving Pacific Coast (long read)

5:30am in the morning, it’s dark and we’ve been on the road for half an hour now, making our way to the border. At this point I’ve stopped trying to remember which border we are crossing, and instead rely on Juan (our guide) to tell us how much cash we will need, and in what currency. I can safely rely on him to shepherd us through the various lines. (Long post…)
Suchitoto to the Pacific coast
Saturday, 2 March 2024
Back on the road again. This morning started at 5:30am for a quick trip out to a lake for a sunrise kayaking for an hour around a river delta doing some bird watching. It’s been a minute since I’ve kayaked.
Suchitoto, El Salvador
Friday, 1 March 2024
This is a beautiful town. But we just found out that there are elections soon, and by law in El Salvador there are no alcohol sales, and alcohol is prohibited in public for the next 3 days, and tomorrow we head to the beach.
So logically we are all drinking enough now to get us through.
