Welcome to France

No, I'm not going to be writing this frequency, but I figure I'll write stuff down here that I need to remember. Our driver is Antonio, who seems a nice bloke. Apparently we will have people joining us in Paris, some leaving in Rome, and some getting on in Rome. 

It sounds like I've picked a good tour to go on, they provide a written "plan" for each place we stop for the night (or more), places we are going, suggested places, etc. So basically lots of free time but lots of support. Seems a good mix.

I try to include a photo in each post, but I'm afraid we didn't exactly see much in the port, and we got on the road and the view isn't spectacular. That's not a complaint, just a fact that we are driving through farm land.
