9600 sheets of toliet paper

Thursday, 6 February 2014

My brain works in odd ways. It's exception based. Buying razor blades isn't exceptional. However, running low is. So my brain raises an exception when this happens. When I buy more however, it doesn't reset that flag.

So I keep buying more packs. Each and every shopping trip. The longer it has been since the exception, the more desperate the circumstance, so I buy bigger packs. When I now have 4 large packs of razor blades, my mind finally raises a Too Many Razor Blades exception, and I stop buying them.

This explains how I now have 48 rolls of toilet paper; when my mind finally decides that for a man living by himself, this is too many.

That's over 9000 sheets of toilet paper. Scientists have determined that's enough TP to last a man his entire lifetime[1].
